We are a volunteer driven organization and, with a very limited budget, our volunteers make things happen!

We hope you will  become a member  of the Historical Society and support our efforts.

Public presentations and our series of  over a dozen videos  about local history are just some of what we do. We welcome you to take this north to south interactive history tour of our county by visiting and learning about all of our historic markers.

Since 1983, the Indian River County Historical Society has contributed to the historical and environmental resources of Indian River County, the Indian River Lagoon area, and the State of Florida.

As a group of volunteers, we are dedicated to fostering our heritage through preservation and education.
